How You Can Help
We know your family is busy battling pediatric cancer. Yet many of you have told us you would like to help SuperSibs! in our mission to help support siblings. Parents and siblings are often the best ambassadors to help others understand the importance of what we do at SuperSibs! Here are a few ways that you can help SuperSibs!... so that no child is turned away without our caring support.
- Encourage your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to donate to SuperSibs! at www.supersibs.org They may wish to celebrate your SuperSibs! children and teens by making a donation in THEIR honor… and we’ll send a special note to these siblings about this special tribute.
- Encourage your company to make a donation to SuperSibs! – from their foundation, or by matching employee donations, or sponsoring one of our special events (Quiet Heroes Chicago, SuperSibs! Golf Classic or Team SuperSibs! ½ Marathon Team, and/or by making an outright corporate donation.)
- Tell other families in the waiting rooms or on your list serves about SuperSibs! so they can be sure to receive support for their children, too.
- Participate in Team SuperSibs! – sign up to walk, run or walk/run in the annual Chicago Distance Classic on our team. We’ll provide training, materials, fundraising support and inspiration to have the experience of a lifetime. Encourage your friends and family to join our team, or to sponsor you in your efforts! - Encourage hospital social workers, child life specialists, psychologists, school teachers and friends to visit www.supersibs.org in the For You section for lots of ideas to help siblings every day through this journey.
- Invite your children and teens (and their schools, youth groups or clubs) to select SuperSibs! as their chosen charity for fundraising opportunities. Collecting spare change, hosting a bowl-a-thon, pancake breakfast or Sips for Sibs stations… all make a huge difference as children and communities help us continue our work.

- Please share your feedback! Your encouragement and suggestions for improvement help us to be the best we can be. Also, your letters and photos are invaluable to share (with your permission) on our website, newsletters and donor impact communication. Thank you!
