"What I Did On My Summer Vacation"

As the brother or sister of a child with cancer, you might sometimes feel left out of things. Did you know there are special summer camps just for kids like you? Finding people who understand what you’re going through can take place at one of the many summer camps for siblings!

Campers enjoy doing lots of things they enjoy without everything being related to childhood cancer. For example, most camps offer activities such as swimming, boating, archery, sports and games, arts and crafts, hiking, ropes courses, campfires, skits, songs and lots of other cool camp stuff. Sibling camps are special because kids like you have the chance to be with other kids who have the same situation in their families.

After camp, you will feel much less alone and much less "different" from their friends back home. The kids you meet at camp often become your best friends in the world.
