Here’s what SuperSibs! kids have said about sib camp:

“There were many discussions that occurred but the best were the ones that happened behind closed doors, not forced but in small groups, comparing ideas and laughing and giggling.  When I came back from BRASS Camp, I had a whole new handful of friends with whom I could relate.”
-First-time BRASS Camper

“I found a lot of wonderful friends at Camp UKANDU, a local camp for children with cancer and their siblings. The weeks I spent at camp were some of the best in my life. I met amazing kids who were in the same situation. Every sibling should find a camp like Camp UKANDU to help him or her.”
-Evelyn H.

“Camp Okizu is a fantastic camp for the siblings of cancer kids. It was a great experience for me … and now I’m a Junior Counselor there to be a role model to other kids who are going through the same things that I did. I hope to return there for many summers to come.”
-Bethany O.

“Sky High Hope Camp is a weeklong summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings. The greatest thing about camp was the feeling of belonging that each camper felt the minute they arrived. Everyone understood what our lives were like, because it’s what there life was like, too! It was the most fun and special time for me.”
-Shane M.

"I went to Camp CoCo Cancer Camp with my sister one summer, and it was one of the best times of my life. I met other siblings who truly understood what I was going through."
-Sarah H.

Ode to BRASS Camp
By SuperSib BRASS Camper

When I came here, five years ago
From the very first day, I loved it so
I met people with the same problems I had
Their siblings had cancer, but they weren’t so sad.
Camp was a place to go when lost
Where you greet all weather, even the frost
To forget your worries, your problems, your fears
A place to dry all those unwanted tears.
